e.e. cummings. He also wrote a lovely book about a cockroach who also only used lower case letters because he couldn't hit the caps key on the typewriter (an archaic manual metal writing machine which preceded computers!) called Archy and Mehitabel. Mehitabel was Archy's friend, an alley cat.
