Was the movie "The Lake House" (Sandra Bullock, Keanu Reeves) based on a book?
Id like to know if the movie The Lake House was based on a book, and if so, the name of the book and author. Thanks! First to give me the correct answer gets the points. :-)

(Watch the trailer for free) - maybe that'll help you decide if it is based on the book (I didn't read the book).

I didn't see the movie but the trailer reminded me a lot of the Nick Bantock books about Griffin and Sabine from the early 90's. The first 3 are sometimes referred to as "The Griffin and Sabine Trilogy". Those were the only ones I read.

Wasn't it based on the James Patterson book "The Lake House"?

It's a remake of a Korean movie called Il Mare, so if it's based on a book, then it's a Korean book.
