http://www.makeupalley.com/ is a fave of mine. There are various boards where you can find lots of info on make up , skincare, etc as well as ask questions about application, colours etc.. It's a community of real people interested in beauty/fashion. There is also Productville which is where you review and test products you have tried and leave opinions and ratings for other members. Handy if you're looking to try out a new mascara and want to know what the general consensus is on it first. Well worth a visit!

Benefit make up do a walk in beauty session. You go to the counter of any store that stocks benefit make up and make an appointment. They will show you lots of tips, show you how to apply make up, what colours suit you etc. I had one on Saturday and given the fact its free and its benefit it is a bargain not to be missed. Plus it was really good fun
