Depends on what kind. Consultant? Could be a a MAsters, six or seven years.
A clinician, top-of-the-line practicing PhD? 14 years or so thesis and internship included.
A school psychologist? 11 years maybe?
But it depends on whether you have to work full time, have a rich family, or start a family of your own in between. And families can pop up on you unplanned, so don't count on it not happening. I know from experience :)!

Depends on the program you get into. For PHd about 6 plus an internship. Most places want you to at least have a Master's ...that'll be about 4.
Good luck

You have to have a Master's to get your license and be a "counselor" (~6 yrs). You could go into law enforcement or a "sub-counseling" position and use your psychology skills with just a Bachelor's (~4 yrs).
