so i just turned 12 a month ago and on sunday i got a stomach ache and back ache, cravings, mood swings, difficulty concentrating, and this out of control feeling. and today, wednesday, they've started to go away. so now i just have mood swings and difficulty concentrating. i've been developing breasts and pubic hair for a few years, and have had a little discharge. do you think ill get my period? i asked my mom, and she said she didn't get hers until she was 13.

I would say you´ll be getting your period soon, probably within the next few weeks. Even though your mom may have been older than you when she got hers, it doesn´t mean you will get it at the same age she did. Your could have inherited your reproductive system from your dad´s side and maybe get your period at the same age one of your aunts did.

It is very possible that you are about to start your period. Before I got mine the first time, I had the same type of symptoms but they lasted 2 or 3 weeks before I actually started.

i had the same things and a few months later there it was when i go home from school and i am 12 too so most likely it will be there soon but dont rush it it's a pain in the butt

Ignore the person that said ewww (it's a natural part of life). Speaking from experience, my period just turned up one day and I had no warning signs.

Could be each person is different. Have your mom make an appt. with a gyn dr. and get checked over. Even your family dr. could answer all these questions

Well soon you will get your period and these are signs of it because I had the same signs also.I may not like my period,but its a sign that we are turning into women.

well i got mine when i was 11 and a half and im almost fourteen now. when i was about to get it i went through just what you went through so my guess it that you should probably get it in a few weeks.

well i'm 11 and i'm never telling my parents i never got my peirod yet but I would tell a friend that may be going threw it becuase it may be stage 3.
