I keep having this dream, wherein i am walking past a group of people, just a mass blur of faces and my legs stop working. I cannot walk and have to crawl down the pavement. Does anyone know what this means?

Its hard to interpret someone else's dream because most symbols are personal. But I will do my best.

1. Were the group of people going the same direction as you, opposite, or not moving at all? If they were moving the same direction, it could mean that you are leading a cause, or someone looks up to you. And your legs stop working because you don't think you are being a good role model.

2. If they are going in the opposite direction, that means you are trying to do something, to accomplish something difficult. Your legs stop working as an obstical. The fact that you just continue on your way means that you are willing to try and overcome any obstical that comes in your way.

3. If the crowd was stationary, this could mean...you are looking around, weighing your options. Somewhere in your life, you are at a fork in the road and are currently looking around. Your legs stop working because the decision is too much, its stressful. However, that you keep crawling means that whatever decision you are leaning towards, you know is not right for you.

Again, its hard to interpret for someone else. But I hope this helps.

group of people = social life
mass blur of faces = fear of public
cannot walk, and have to crawl = losing control
crawl down the pavement = support needed

Basically, you have some fear in your social life. That dream shows you that you are losing confidence in social life. Projecting their face blurred is a way of showing yourself you are into denial. There are things you don't want to admit and face. That is why you subconsciously tell yourself in dream that you cannot walk and lose control. Perhaps in reality, you are seeking for support and respect.

To interpret a dream is a very personal thing. You need to know what has gone on in your life and what is going on in your head. Even a psychologist of vast experience struggles with dream analysis. However, I know a good trick. Invent yourself an imaginary friend. This imaginary friend knows everything about you and you can discuss everything with him/her. Ask your imaginary friend about the dream. This is a good way of dragging things out of your mind. Look at it another way ..... the dream is playing on your mind for a reason. What do you want it to mean?

You could have a fear of crowds or you sometimes feel you are below them- hence the reason why you crawl down on the pavement.

I agree most with lines 1 and 2-When reality becomes too painful to bear and turns into a nightmare. What we would seek then is the solace that comes with dreams. "An angel with a heart large enough to bring hope to any dead soul", and "An angel with eyes pure enough to see through any darkness', evoke strong emotions of hope. "Dreams that bring tears...and dreams I miss"- a wistful ending but apt. If only... Thanks for sharing-it's good :)

Dreams are often symbolic. Ask yourself what the major elements in the dream represent to you, personally.

I once had a dream that I was in a house with a flooded attic. When I woke, I found my sinuses were very congested.

You have a phobia of faces? Or maybe you have been on facebook.com too much, and you are starting to think of people as faces only, rather than whole bodies, and that is crippling your social life.

It's not what happens that you need to interpret, it's how it makes you feel. Are you frustrated, angry, frightened? The action in the dream is just a vehicle to let your subconscious express its emotions.

I believe you know you will be faced with something very difficult in your life. You will have to answer to many, but you cannot so you lock up not knowing why or what to do.
