heres a hypothetical question to ponder on. is there an exact opposite parallel universe to ours?

I can only hope for a parallel univese. According to Brian Greene and many astrophysicists, parallel universes might exist, however there is no proof yet. Of course, it is always fun to imagine one. However, I doubt that we will be able to find it in our life times.

some of the science studies by equations state they believe there are and some say they dont know, and some emphatically think if there are they are unreachable without devastation of our planet. So its a toss up and I dont think in our lifetime we will know either. But we keep researching and maybe someday we will find out. laws of relativity from Einstein with the division of atoms and then the nuclear comes and then we have the combine of electro-magnetic powers but with no success we still try.

No, what you are thinking of is the person's mind that is sitting next to you. In a theoritical sense it might be a parallel universe, but in a realistic sense it is the guy sitting next to you.

Yes, and I am able to travel between this and other universes at will.

The downside is that the Yahoo Answers in the other universes are every bit as useless as the one in this universe.

According to string theory, there is. But not all physicists accept string theory. Personally, I reject the theory because it is too complicated. Nature is never complicated, just very subtle.
