It is best to stop the pill for at least a couple of months to allow your body to revert back to its normal monthly cycle of ovulation. While you may be able to become pregnant the first month after you stop, there can be some uncertainty as to the date of ovulation because of the change in hormones affecting your cycle, and thus some question as to the date of the baby's birth and its gestational age. This is important to know so that your doctor can properly assess the baby's development during your pregnancy. At least two menstrual periods should pass after you stop the pill so that your body can return to its normal state.

No. the only reason to attend is to get a popular cycle lower back. the different reason is that maximum medical doctors such as you to be on prenatals for 3 months previous to starting to be pregnant so as which you're healthy on the time of thought. I have been given pregnant weeks after scuffling with beginning administration. I even have cycle themes and am in basic terms popular for those first couple months, after that some months I ovulate and a few i do no longer.

This question really depends on which doctor you ask. Some will say wait a few months to get it everything out of your system, and then others will say that it is fine to go ahead and try right away. In fact, I have read some articles and even part of a book that was published that said that the first month coming off of BCP's might even be your most fertile.

Usually, doctors advise that you wait 3 months or until your periods are regular, whichever happens first. But, I've seen lots of women who quit taking oral contraceptives and didn't even have a single period after that because they conceived right away. In none of these have I seen a single case of complications or birth defects which could be linked to the Pill. So, take the decision which you consider best for you and your future baby-to-be.

I quit the pill and had 1 regular period and was pregnant the next month. Not just once but twice. I now have 2 beautiful healthy girls 4 years apart. When it is time, it is time.

when it happens it happens...it usually takes about 3 months for your body's hormones to self-regulate again, but you can still get pregnant in the meantime (just don't be surprised if you don't)
