If you are referring to the situation from yesterday, President Bush has no reason to apologize. Mr. Kerry was out of line and inappropriate. However, a number of answers to your question pop to mind. For instance, do you believe the President needs to apologize for the war in Iraq? If that is the case, would you prefer that we be fighting the terrorists here on the streets of the US?
You see, the vast majority of the US get their news from the network news shows. Those shows are sadly twisted strongly to the left, so you do not get the truth. If you do research, or read news from outside the USA -like Kurdistan, you would see the the Iraq war is actually NOT the quagmire the NBC's and CBS's would have you believe. (Our nephew was contracting over there and brought back pictures of the new schools and businesses)
So, before you throw pot shots at President Bush, be certain you know the truth of the story, not the spin the organized media wants to tell you.
And, FYI, if the media we have now reported on World War II, we would have pulled out and quit leaving Europe to the whims of Hitler.

Kerry didn't apologize, so your question is meaningless. I guess everyone knows by now that Kerry told everyone how he really feels about the military the other day, but we already knew that anyway since he's been saying horrible things about them for 35 years. He even lied under oath about the Vietnam stuff. No one cares if Kerry apologizes anyway. He meant what he said, so let's just get on with our lives.

First of all, Kerry DIDN'T apologize! "He apologized for 'a botched joke' about President Bush's Iraq policies that led Bush and fellow Republicans to accuse him of insulting U.S. troops." (Today's Dallas News) He DID INSULT THE TROOPS! There was NO JOKE involved and any of you who claim there was or accept this as an apology are just falling for excuses. Until he admits that he insulted the troops and apologizes for THAT and stops putting it on the Republicans as if they did something wrong in getting angry over the insult that he meant and said, it isn't good enough. Apparently, many Democrats feel the same way as they "uninvited" him to many campaign appearances for them lest they appear to agree with Kerry in that the military is stupid for "getting stuck in Iraq."

Kerry apologizing really makes up for his ignorance? No...Bush has nothing to apologize for anyways, he is an American who supports his country and troops, Kerry is an American who has degraded anyone who feels strongly for their country and has just pi**ed on the grave of anyone who has died for their country or anyone risking their lives so he can live his pathetic useless life. Bush may have made some wrong decisions, but EVERYONE has, everyone in this world has messed up, no need to apologize you make the best decision you can and roll with it. Kerry apologizing means nothing, absolutely nothing. His apology wasnt honorable and it wasnt sincere, you dont say something like that and the next day for absolutely no reason say you didnt mean it, thats a damn lie.

Kerry was forced to apologize by the Democratic party, all of his speaking engagements had been canceled and the party made him apologize, after he said earlier that he would never apologize for what he said. Bush has no reason to apologize he is the commander and chief, he takes responsibility.

Let's use some common sense here. First I'm no big fan of Kerry but I think this was a botched joke. This guy is probably going to run for president again he knows anything he says will come back to hurt him so why would he say such a stupid thing?

Why didn't Clinton apologize for letting Bin Laden go? Why didn't he apologize for getting a BJ under the desk while discussing policy on the phone? Shouldn't Clinton apologize for 8 years of gutting the military and intelligence agencies? How about his "cut and run" policy in Somalia? Why don't you demand that all the Democrats who VOTED for this war apologize?
I don't support everything Bush does, but I think it's really sad how everyone seems to forget that there's plenty of blame to go around.

Am I the only person in America that understood what Kerry was saying? His statement was to say the people that are incharge of education right now are also incharge of this war in Iraq with no visible exit strategy. Wow, republicans have really thin skin now-a-days. Are they worried about something?
