I am about to move house. I packed away 4 large boxes full of books, and in my time i have probably read and/or owned 4 times as many. I also work in a bookshop and have always belonged to a library somewhere. So i know what i talk of when I say that when you don't know what to read read something you haven't before. Break habits go for a different genre, author, whatever.I have met people who only read this or that kind of book and i have always been of the opinion that they like reading what they know, more than books or reading.Their sought of in love with what the books say about themselves rather than the stories or ideas in the books,an odd kind of 'navel gazing'.I read books to know the mind of another.

Kay Hooper writes some awesome suspense/thriller books. I have read most of her books and they have all been great so far. The books usually end with a twist and keep you guessing the whole way through the book. Her early books were romance so look for her latest releases. Happy Reading!!

I'd recommend the Gunslinger series but you've probably already read it. Harold Schetcher's true crime serial killer books are entertaining. Devil in the White City by Erik Larson.
