You mean the Wimp Generation version of Star Trek? I always felt they were more touchy-feely than liberal. A bunch of idealistic wussies. They had rules to live by and then went right out and broke them. (How many times was the "Prime Directive" ignored?) And no one was ever thrown in the brig on that show but Q.
