Im 16 and my facial hair is growing, but it has patches in between that have no hair growing. Will it start to grow propberly in time. Or is this the way it will be? also part of it is red, will it all turn red in time, or again is that the way it is. Its also very rough will it smooth out? Thanks I appreciate it.

I think it'll fill out but I'm a girl so I don't really know. I have a twin brother so I hope that makes me qualified to answer.

It all depends on genetics. You still have time for those hormones to kick in and fill it out or that may just be the way it's going to grow. Look at your father and grandfathers...what do their facial hairlines look like? Chances are yours will be similar. They say genetic baldness is linked to the mother's father. This could be true for facial hair as well. So maybe take a good look at your maternal grandfather.

It will settle and become more even as times goes. You're young yet, just give it time.
