the end is supposed to remain a mystery, because if you translated it, the meaning would be "lost in translation"
like how we have phrases in english that people who speak spanish would not understand, like saying "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"

I read an interview with Sofia Coppola (who wrote and directed the movie) and she said, something to the effect of, "I wanted it to be a moment shared by the characters and no one else" (that's paraphrased; I can't remember what she exactly said).
Personally I think it's bunk, that she wanted to have some great and powerful closing line but couldn't think of anything and copped out. Instead of inviting the audience into a beautiful moment she pushed us all away. Not good storytelling, in my opinion.
Otherwise I really liked the movie.

It is a secret that the film does not reveal. I have watched it several times and am no closer to figuring it out. I think the movie is great and I like how they did it leaving it up to your imagination. Very cool.
