If this is your first, you have a while. So just relax and breathe! If this is a second, call 911! Goodluck and congrats!

Call 911 and tell them your in labor and have no one to take you to the hospital. They will send an ambulance to come and get you. Don't wait for husband.
Some say that with your first it takes a while, that isn't always the case. My friend has her first baby an hour after she went into labor. Both my labors were really fast also.
You don't want to have the baby at home just in case something goes wrong.
Call 911 and get to the hospital right away.
Protect yourself and your baby.
Good luck and congratulations.

Relax. Labor is normal and the pain is worse because you are panicking. Nice slow deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. Close your eyes, and try to sway through the contractions.
If you need too, go in the shower. It is amazing and natures epidural. Your body knows what it is doing. Trust it. I know right now you are probably thinking "ya right lady." But if you can take each contraction as it comes, relax and let your muscles relax, you will do just fine. If you are 6 minutes apart you have lots and lots of time.Especially if this is baby number one?
Congratulations!

Sound like this baby is not going to wait much longer. Don't stress out, just be calm. If you feel that you absolutely need to, call nine one one. Has your water broken yet? I would not wait for your husband, call a neighbor or Friend. I tried to wait with my third pregnancy and my son derin ended up being delivered on the bathroom floor with two fire fighters!! Congrats on the bundle of joy and good luck!!!

first of all you need to relax, and make sure if your hubby is not there in time that you call an ambulance. It would not be good if you need a c-section and you are at home. Just relax though. stressing will only cause problems. if your water breaks that means you have to go now, if your contractions are very strong, and painfull then you need to go now. get a neighbor to give you a ride something. congrats and good luck.

You never know, but it sounds like maybe you need to get a neighbour or a friend to take you to the hospital. If you don't feel you can make it, listen to your body! Better to get to the hospital and be safe and have your baby be safe than to wait and have something go wrong. Just have your husband meet you at the hospital. Good luck and Congrats...I hope you have a short labour!

If you can't get a hold of anyone else, I'd call 911...an ambulance can take you to the hospital. But first I'd see if maybe a neighbor or friend/family member that lives close by could take you. Congrats, it's your big day!!!

Ok..he's probly thinkin he has a long wait- but that's not necessarily true- my first one came in 4 hours. He either needs to get his butt home NOW and take you to the hospital or you should call someone else to take you. I dont think you should wait- everyone is different...you could end up being like me and having fast labor.

Congratulations, didn't you ask about how to bring on labour a little while ago?
Try and remember all the things that helped you before and get a neighbour/friend round right now to hold your hand , sit with your other child,if you can!
