Ok...
When an exponent isn't a fraction, you know that it means raise it to that power.
When an exponent is a fraction, it means take that root of the number. So, this is really (3^9)^1/4,
or the 4th root of 3*3*3*3*3*3*3*3*3
The 4th root of 3*3*3*3 is obviously 3, and you have this twice under the square root symbol. That means you need this squared. Then, you still have one left, so the answer is:
9 * the fourth root of 3

The expression is 3 to the (9/4) power. In other words, 3 to the 9th power divided by 3 to the 4th power
=19683/1.316074013
= 14,955.85

If you have a good hand calculator you can obtain this result directly, without having to obtain the intermediate ones.

u can take 8 time the 3 out as 2 threes as it is the power of 1/4
so
ans
9*(sqrt)(3)

That is the same thing as the 4th root of 3 to the 9th power.
