I am a junior-high schooler and i need to write a short (one paragraph) monologue about myself. opinions? thx!

ok it has to be true about you (your life, likes, relationships, etc) and very short, one paragraph. we need to present it in front of the my english/drama class.

my monologue is about my fave sport swimming. this is how it starts: Everybody has a favourite sport. i like biking, volleyball, and diving. but my favourite has to be swimming.

i need to mention that swimming 'speaks' to me, and i knew it did when i started... but also has to be noot so 'dreamy' and potentialistic, because it is suppoed to look like a middle-schooler is talking.

You could mention how swimming is your escape from reality...start it out " Everybody wants a place where they can escape and not have a care in the world, for some its the library or others its running around the track, but for me its swimming laps in the pool" and then elorbrate on that?
