How do I write a sit-com?

I mean...what's the process? I have all these ideas, and I can write them down in script form, but then what? Who do I contact? What do I need? Do I just submit the pilot script to tv networks? How do I know they won't steal my idea without giving me credit? What's the procedure? Please help!

Oh, everyone has a sitcom in them. It isn't coming up with the idea, or writing it. It is marketing your idea. Bottle that and you'll make a fortune!
