Compliments make some people uncomfortable. It may be because they think that you don't actually mean what you say or they dont like the exessive attention.

Nope I've learned how to take a compliment. These people are usually insecure with themselves. Plus they need to learn how to accept a compliment graciously. It's bad manners to act that way.

I've never heard this. Maybe because they find what your saying hard to believe or they think you are lying. No I am not one of those people. Compliment me all you want.

My little sister does that....she hates it when people compliment her....I think its only because she hears it so much that she now resents it.

Define 'get mad'.
I sometimes don't like it when I hear it from guys because it sounds like they're just trying to get laid.
