I heard that there was going to be a Halloween 9 and a Freddy vs Jason 2. Is that true?

I heard that Rob Zombie is remaking the first "Halloween". And they certainly left room for a sequel in the first Freddy v. Jason, didn't they?

Halloween 9 is in production with Rob Zombie directing it, supposedly to be released before Halloween next year. I've also heard that there is going to be a Freddy VS Jason 2, but don't know much about that one.
