I have been trying to breed my sim's Collie with a Border Collie, btu it isn't working. The dogs both have a great realationship with each other and the owner, but there is no option to breed them. I did not create the dogs, I bought them at the pet shop. Could someone tell me why it isn't working>

Yes, you can definately breed two breeds together! What your problem most likely is, is that you have too many sims/pets on your lot. You can have up to six pets and up to 8 sims, but you can only have a total of 12 (or maybe its ten..) sims+pets. There seems to be a slight bug with the game where it doesnt let you have puppies/kittens if there is the possibility of having a female sim get pregnant. You can move one sim out, get the dog preggers, and move her back in. If you need any more help with this, go to thesims2.com... and sign in with your username that you got when you registered your game. (if you haven't registered, go to start/programs/eagames/thesims2/register)

Hope that helped!

Do u have a dog house? They breed in a dog house, so if u don't have one the option isn't available!!! Their relationship may not be high enough! Good Luck!:)
