Can somebody tell me if Black panthers are cougars?

black panthers are black jaguars. Although it is rare for a cougar to be born black, it is possible. The panther you see on TV is a black jaguar. If you were to examine them closely, you would see faint black spots on them.

if black panthers were cougars they would probably be called black cougars
