You are probably anemic. And also dehydrated. I used to get that way. Happens to people who bleed too much. Eat a burger after your period stops and drink lots of fluids. Iron pills may not help because they are hard to digest. You will get faster results from red meat and some green veggies. Don't drink too much soda. It won't help hydrate you and it will just make you break out.

Some people get a little anemic after a period. My suggestion is to make sure you are taking a B complex vitamin every day and a good Iron supplement. What I take is a B complex, Calcium and Magnesium capsule, and a Iron supplement every day. I used to have that same problem. If you are deficient in these, you will feel dead on your feet. Try not to binge on caffeine pills and caffeinated drinks as all they will do is decrease your calcium levels, which will make your periods worse as far as cramps and such.

its most important that you ask your doctor. he/she is the only one that will be able to give you an answer that will solve the problem. but until you get yourself to that point, there are a few things that will help. they say you should drink eight glasses of water a day, but during your cycle, you'll want to up that amount a good two or three glasses. its important that you do that throughout and for about two or three days after. another way to help keep you a little more energized would be to eat foods that provide a sufficient amount of the vitamins a womans body needs. eat plenty of fruit. that will also help curb any cravings you may have and keep your calorie intake just as normal as any other day.

your body isn't getting enough iron! when you menstruate your body loses a lot of blood (obviously), and iron is carried in the blood. try taking iron supplements or eating a lot of red meat if you're not a vegetarian. spinach is also a good source of iron. if that doesn't help give you more energy, definitely talk to your doctor, but i'm pretty sure that's what's causing you to feel sick. good luck!

Take a Extra Strength Vitamin pill every day and supplement it with Vitamin B12 once a day. If the vitamin pill doesn't have much iron in it then buy an iron pill and take all three. That should boost you up in a few months.

You might be anaemic. Talk to your doctor about getting a blood test to see if you are. Iron tablets might be able to help you.
