They have been a major pain in the ***, i have been here a year and there are no vacations-no sick day-and no personal days- I will give them a notice-but how long do you think would be appropriate? My bonus is based on what I made for the year so i think I am intittled to it even if i quit the next day, Right?

If you are not in a union then yes, they can screw you out of your bonus. Find out if you can start the new job a few days later. If not, you'll have to decide what's more important...the bonus or the great job.

Do what is right and ethical. Probably you will be dropped from the Bonus list if you follow correct procedure.

and your new boss will learn you have integrity. That you cannot buy! 10 years from now it will still be a good mark on your record.

That said:

Maybe you can negotiate something because the old company doesn't want to be seen as a unowhat either.
Good Luck - especially if Bonus is really withheld wages that you rightfully are entitled to....Lot's of angles, but keep your dignity. :o)

Let the company know you have received another job offer. Ask your supervisor when you could leave the company and still receive your bonus. Get that in writing. Give your notice for the day after that to be your last day.
