I like "The Shining" original version also...Here's Johnny!
But I also like "Christine"...nothing as haunting as the '50s music they chose for the movie...
And who can forget "The Shawshank Redemption"...that is one of my favorite movies period...

Most people do not know that "The Shawshank Redemption" was written by King. It is from the novella Different Seasons which also includes the story "The Body" which was made into the Rob Reiner Film "Stand by Me". Both are favorites of mine.

The Shining [w/ Nicholson, of course!] and Carrie... was the first Stephen King book I read and the movie was pretty scary, too.
