aka Willebrord Snellius...Willebrord Snell van Royen. A reference would be much appreciated....

Not WHEN he died, but the how...the circumstances of his death.

thanks guys (at least, all of you who are TRYING to help me lol. I seriously think if I put he choked to death on a sardine I'd fail my project.) I know, this one is one tough cookie to crack! I'm still looking too.

Hey guys,

I really appreciate you looking for me...however, I can't seem to find anything on his death (the dude was born in the 1500s so it might not even be recorded.) if you want to give up the search, that's fine. I'll just try to explain to my teacher the situation.

Thanks for your help anyway

I agree with the previous post-I thought I could pull this one right out and I can't find a thing - though still looking.

I am still looking on this....damn it must be some high government secrect...

I have found out that while he was dying - he suffered greatly.

ok keep looking , i am getting booted out of the pc room but I wish you luck...if you ever do find out please email me and let me know at MY USER NAME at yahoo.com

thanks,

I really dont' know what it says - it just know that Leiden means sorrow or anguish, I know what his grave site said, how many kids he had, who studied under him, but not that he tripped on descartes shoes while being chased with a chain saw !!!!!!!

I am beginning the t hink the man is still alive!

LOL

Looking...not as easy as I thought it would be. Will edit when I find an answer.

LOL on the Dutch article. It looks as if it only mentions the fact of his death, still no suggestion of the mode.

Thanks for giving me the thrill of correcting a few things at different sites: three had his birth in 1591, whilst stating that he died at the age of 46 in 1626!

I'm starting a theory that Descartes had him poisoned... ; )

Well, you might have got to first provide an explanation for why you suppose that the Christian information of the loss of life of Jesus is being taken out of context to ensure that us to talk about matters, correct?
