Neither. It's accomplishments.

Remember, good and evil are in the eye of the beholder. If another person agrees with what you side with, and has a personality which tends to agree, then he will view you as good. If another person disagrees with what you side with, and has a personality which tends to disagree, then he will view you as bad.

If there is a combination of agree/ disagree characteristics, then influence, charisma, prestige, fame, intimidation, inspiration, rationalization, etc. are the techniques used to expose and wean over a potential judge. Still, for any given circumstance, it's impossible to predict how a person will view or prioritize although tendecies and patterns can be found and realized.

Today, we live in a world with extremely fast communication possibilities. Unfortunately, the speed which ideas travel, force us to discriminate and filter through the clutter in order to reach what matters before we can even find the good stuff. More of our time goes into sorting and identifying than defining and distinguishing (which lets us be preyed upon once exhausted since we start to concede in the quality which we search for just be satisfied), so in general, TODAY we reflect upon man's evil in order to find our own goodness and justification.

in general society is a mix of good and bad people, because society contains good and bad people. If you are asking whether or not society is progressing, you have to look at it on both sides, technologically and morally, and either way you can see improvements. More cars and buildings, less gladiator fighting.

I hope this wasn't a question a teacher asked you to do for homework because it really doesn't make sense.

Society is us, the population. In other words you are asking if we are reflecting upon ourselves our good and evil actions.

It's just not clear what it is you are trying to ask.

Also...do you mean reflect as in "think about" or "mirror"?

Just some clarity please.

That is generally called peer pressure(influence, and surroundings of an upbringing). The nurturing of a child for an instance is imperative to their good or bad behavior pattern. The child is reacting for the most part to a new environment and the surroundings may be negative so in fact the child misbehaves to express his/her dislike for their discomfort in the situation. For instance the child breaks something while rebelling against something bad, is the child bad? Or is he/she just reacting in a negative way to a negative situation. Now if the child continues this behavior for all things then the society surrounding the immediate environment may in fact help them to re-shape their behavioral patterns by setting a better example. It works both ways, depending on the situation. But we do know wrong from right by instinct for the most part in the early stages of life. Pain is bad, and comfort is good. Survival is the instinct of mankind regardless of the general society and their opinions of how we should act good or bad. That means man is able to adapt in most situations. That is where the peer pressure comes in to weaken the strengths of mankind due to his need to be accepted. Therefore mankind can block his instincts of the balance of good and bad, just to fit in to the general society. Or he can rebel and create a better environment or search for one like many have done in history. it all depends on the strength we have in us to repel evil and draw from good.

evil of course. otherwise everyone in the world would be happy. but you see much more depressed faces than happy faces. thus, the society loves to reflect on evil. this contributes to the deterioration of society and the imminent destruction of mankind.

People get the Government they deserve. I doubt it. They need leaders and there are few leaders who are prepared to act for the good of people in general.

God instilled within us the difference between good and evil. The Holy Bible clarifies it.
Even people that have never heard of God still know the difference. God also instilled in us the desire to SEEK Him.
