My husband worked 2 fulltime jobs from 6 in the morning till 12am while i was pregnant and he still came home and gave me backrubs as soon as he got off work.....and when i had to go into the hospital a month after giving birth he worked and took care of both our kids........

A few years ago, my boyfriend (now husband) and I were celebrating our first Valentines day together while also preparing to get an apartment together. When I opened the card he'd gotten me for Valentine's Day - he had enclosed $1500 cash. Inside he'd written that the money was for us to go out and buy furniture together for our new place that would be "ours" as we started a life together. That was the most thoughtful and nicest thing he'd ever done. He does nice and thoughtful things now too but that always really stands out.

It wasnt how much, but the thought that counts. When I had a significant other,we went to an agricultural show on Valentines weekend. I found a cheap bracelet that I really liked in one of the side alley markets near where they had the show rides. He convinced me I didnt need it, so we went and watched the smash up derby. I ended up getting something else on the way out. When I went to bed later that night and lifted the bed cover up, there was the bracelet on my pillow.

After 8yrs of ups and downs.He came home 2 nights ago with a diamond ring for me.He has 6 siblings.None of which have been married.He says hes going to the first.That's what makes it so special.

Besides sign the divorce papers? LOL Naw he and I are still the best of friends which my family does not understand...he once got me the sweetest teddy bear and card for no reason...
