the current rate need not be extended for your hypothesis to take effect
the damage is done, it is irreperable
i predict that the country will financially crumble by 2012
there will probably be another party in power and they will take the fall for the ineptness of the republican party

Not many, but the Democrats won't be able to help you either. China is the largest single market in the world, and every capitalist wants a piece of it. As these capitalists have always been Americas allies, they will ditch the US like rats from a sinking ship. Since Mao came to power in China, the US has depicted them as evil, and the Chinese don't forget what you have caused them. They remember US troops crossing into China during Korea, they saw the devastation you brought to their neighbours, Japan, Korea, Vietnam. They see that the US supported Saddam & Osama when it suited them, and then attacked them when it didn't, so your allegiances aren't worth the paper they were written on. As China booms, the US will fade and become a second world country, as the Chinese buy your country up and laugh.
A simple example of what is to come is shown that over 1,000 cars are bought in ShangHai every week (population 20million and growing), yet Ford are going bankrupt, why? Because the Chinese won't buy USofA.
Good luck, and I'd start learning Mandarin today, if you want a cleaning job in the future.

I don't think I could say it any better than Quack doc. Great answer doc! We're paying down our national debt three years ahead of schedule and people take home more money from their gross pay than they have in years. Yes, if you work you get a tax break rich, poor or middle class. We get to decide how we want to spend our money not the government. The Dem's think they are much more intelligent than the average Joe so they want to raise taxes and spend it for us. God help us if Kerry would be in office and botch a joke. (well, lie about botching a joke). LOL!

Hmmmm, economy is great, debt has been here since FDR set up our socialist bankings system after we declared bankruptcy in 1930, thrusting us into the debt we are in today. If you look at the Dow, unemployment rates, and how well off we really are, I think you will find we are not going down but moving forward. Raising taxes and appeasing terrorists will bring down this country much faster. Look at Europe, high taxes and muslim appeasement. They are about to collapse. France in particular. Remember, Europe appeased Hitler too, and look at what that got us. Oh yeah, Clinton appeased North Korea, and gave them the money and tech to build nuclear weapons. Yep, that worked.

I don't see that happening no matter who is running the show in years to come....America is a strong country now & always will be because of the people here not just the Government....Our brave men & women are willing to die for their fellow Americans, that alone is the backbone that keeps us strong & ready to defend her shores...We will never fall.

you have no longer something even on the brink of the incredibly actuality listed right here. working example, the "cooked" intelligence replaced into relatively intelligence accumulated by skill of the previous administration who is likewise on checklist making an identical claims and allegations approximately WMD that Bush did. the excess replaced into no longer "hijacked" it replaced into spent after the 9/11 attack on native land protection and the war attempt. That "stupid theory" of reforming Social protection might have saved the unsustainable equipment however the Democrats refused to cooperate. The fall down of the international financial equipment had no longer something to do with something Bush did, yet with the strikes of the leaders of those countries in hassle. vehicle businesses have been victims of work Contracts that made them unsustainable, coverage companies and Banks failed because of the fact of Fannie and Freddie fraud that have been controlled by skill of Democrats Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, no longer Bush. What defense force techniques have been governed unconstitutional? there is no such element as an unfunded defense force action. All defense force spending is done in specific by Congressional costs for that purpose, perchance you remember all of the rivalry over including extraneous issues to defense force Spending costs? Tarp replaced into no longer seven-hundred Billion. It replaced into 4 hundred Billion and it replaced into voted for in a bi-partisan vote which secure a "specific" vote from then Senator Barack Obama. specific, you need to study and then say so plenty extra desirable than in basic terms baseless allegations and fake Democrat speaking factors. plenty extra. *

I would guess at 4 to 8 years.. If we don't do something about it before the baby boomers retire we will not be able to pay off the deficit...

I rather not think of that. My fear is the DNC, in its own ineptness, is not prepared or able to fix the damage.
