I would be creating some documentation with xmls samples.
if i copy and paste , the plain text xml is pasted ...is there a way that i could have it colorcoded /formatted in word, minus the coloring-individual-word-manual process?

writing programs in ms office is possible, but not very pretty.

coloring xml is a fun topic, you can do it using a good xml parser that tells you what things are as they come along, a dom parser is even better! these parsers are built in to javascript, (even MS IE's)

using word/excel macros? nope! only pain and suffering.

Why not just take screen shots of the XML as displayed in IE?
