NOT at all lesbian bars/clubs play hip/hop, pop, and lesbian stuff like melisa ethridge and all that....
Gay bars play club/trance/DJ mixes.....
I've been to both, there is more energy in the gay bars.

It depends on the bars.
Some play Melissa and lots of Sarah other play lots of really great dance music.

No. Lesbian bars play music inducive to dancing in dungarees and with mullets. Therefore no music that is too conducive to head shaking, for mullets can upset one's balance.
(And no offense meant to the many fine lesbians out there. I'm feeling playful today. This is a joke. Please do not send your girlfriends in their pick up trucks to run me down.)

Salt N peppa and melissa ethridge. Those are the only two singers allowed to play in a L Bar.

where i live we only have GLBT bars - no segregation, although the once a month womens night is pretty much the same (music wise) as every other night.... if you can dance to it then there it is.
