General rule of thumb: Both parties have to be comfortable.
That doesn't mean that one party can't experiment and bend a little.
It does mean that any behavior that is threatening is off limits.
Any behavior that is a fixation and replaces intimate contact is unhealthy.
It's not mine to judge what you will be open or closed to. If you're just not OK with something, no is no. As long as you've considered your lover's side and even tried one or two non-threatening things, you've been as open as you need to be.
If you say no to something, be consistent and firm. Do not let anyone keep trying and then cave in, or this will be a constant habit that can be abusive. It's up to you to protect yourself from that by meaning exactly what you say.
That goes for any aspect of any relationship.
