Amoeba has a single nucleus. It will die when its removed.

Being prokaryotic, ameobas do not have membrane bound organelles, like nuclei. If their genetic material was removed, the amoeba would be unable to function and would shortly die. That said, I need to reiterate that amoeba do not have nuclei.

it will die if the whole nucleus is removed, however if only a part of the nucleus is removed it can regenerate the lost part and will continue to live.

i thought amoeba's didnt have a nucleus because they are prokaryotes
