(1) The question should have been framed in a proper way.It should be either 1 is what percent of 1/5 or 1/5 is what percent of 1.Well,in the first case,it is 500% and in the second case it is 20% (2) 75% of what number is 150.The steps to solve this type of problem is very easy. 75% ot 75/100 of a number is 150.Therefore,the number is 150*(100/75)=200 [That means you have to convert the percentage into fraction and just have to multiply the given number by the inverse of the fraction to obtain the desired result] (3)First of all make a fraction,putting the part as numerator and the whole as denominator and then multiply the fraction by 100 to get percentage.here it is (75/750)*100 =10% (4)Follow the process given in no.2. 6.5% or 6.5/100 or 65/1000 of a number is 325. Therefore the number is 325*(1000/65)=5000 ans. (5) 48.3% of 1500=( 48.3/100)* 1500=(483/1000)*1500=322 ans.If you donot understand any step or process,please donot hesitate to ask me through the Yahoo Answers. I always welcome questions from the students

is over of = what over 100

75/750 = x/100
750x = 7500
x=10

325/x = 6.5/100
6.5x = 32500 (32500/6.25)
x= 5000

hope that helps all it takes is a little practice recognizing where everything goes, what is the IS, what's the OF, and what's the WHAT... good luck

I don't want to seem rude, but in most of these all you do is divide? What grade are you in? It would be more difficult to type these than to figure them out?

If you want send me your answers and I will tell you what is correct but these are all very simple! I don't mind helping with homework but i am afraid that if you don't understand these there may be something else you are missing.
