It sounds like you could have a yeast infection. You can get these before your first period and without having sex... it is not an STD. Since it's been going on for so long, you should go see a doctor for an official diagnosis rather than just taking an over-the-counter medication. Yeast infections generally respond well to treatment.

Sounds like Candida (aka yeast infection). The best thing that works is that one time pill from a doctor, I think it's called diflucan.
If you're looking for an alternative way, go to a health goods store and try acidophilus. It's usually kept in a refrigerator and you'll want to take 3-6 capsules twice a day. I would also recommend you eat 1-2 cups of yogurt that contains live active cultures in it. Try Dannon Activia or Stonyfield Farm. Your body wash should be PH balanced. You may want to pick up a natural body wash from a health goods store, one that doesn't contain sodium lauryl sulfates and parabens.

Sounds like thrush... there's a few options

eat yoghurt or put natural yoghurt on a tampon and insert it in your vagina for half an hr or so - this will sooth it and hopefully help clear it up. If you don't want to insert a tampon you can always just put the yoghurt in the area.. make sure you clean yourself properly later on cos you don't want to walk around smelling like yoghurt!!

Another option is to go to a chemist with a gf and tell them you have thrush (tell them the symptoms in case they think it might be something else) and ask what the best treatment is...

Alternatively, get your Mum to take you to the doc to find out the real prob is!!

Whilst the whole down stairs issues seems like a big deal when you're younger - don't stress - doctors couldn't care less and your Mum will probably completely understand the thrush factor and get you the stuff you need without you even having to go to the chemist if you'd prefer!

If you're having sex - it could be Gardenella vaginitis...

If it's really bad - the doctor is really the only option cos otherwise you're going to end up feeling really ****.. you might need anti-biotics!!

Goodluck!! Welcome to womanhood!!

If you've never had this diagnosed by a health care practitioner then DO NOT just treat it yourself with over the counter remedies such as Monostat.

Go to a clinic or go see your doctor and get an experienced diagnosis.

I remember when I started my period it came for a couple of months then I skipped a month. I was very irregular for the first year.

Itching beyond belief
Discharge of a white smelly cottage cheese like mucous

Sounds like a YEAST infection. For your very first one, you need to see the dr for them to be sure this is what it is. They will tell you what meds to use.

You gotta stay clean in that area, wipe front to back, don't wear tight clothing, change your undies DAILY and drink plenty of fluids.

It's called a yeast infection. Go to the drug store and get Monistat, follow the directions and in a week or so you will be back to normal.
