when i ask it to update it to thw 1.2 version it comes up with error 1417. How can i stop this?

o it did this to me.
Go on the actual apple site and download iTunes again, it updates it and keeps your songs there too.

Go onto the Apple site they have a help section on there you might be able to find your answer on there/ your I pod might need re setting it will also tell you on the Apple site!

Call a tech or buy a new one...call Apple they can talk you through it...good luck.

There is support on your iTunes if you have downloaded it
