And he's really cute and funny and smart. I'm in 9th grade & he's in my Social Studies class. But the problem is, is that he always calls me by the wrong name, but then quickly corrects himself. Is he doing this on purpose? Or is he just really forgetful? I really like him, but I'm scared to tell him. Also, he's like a naturally flirtatious person, so he's always like touching girls on the arm when he's talking to them (Or not talking to them...) and I just can't stop thinking about him! So what do you think?

Okay, just to let you know, sometime he does sound like he's joking, because he would say the wrong name like more than once. Like this one time (he calls me Lindsay.) and he said, "Hey Lindsay!" across the room, and then i said, "My names not Lindsay!" and then a minute later he said, "What did you get for the first one, Lindsay?" and I said my name's not Lindsay, so I think sometimes he is joking, but I'm still not sure... maybe he's just forgetful...

Here are my signs to tell if a guy likes you:
-You are in school and you look up and just happen to see him staring at you
-You talk to another boy and he acts funny or tries to break up the conversation or join in out of no where
-He asks you if you have a boyfriend (but this one is not guarantee because he could be asking for a friend)
-He ask you alot of questions about yourself
-He seems to do anything for your attention even annoying things
-He gives you a longer hug than he gives other girls

And he may like you and joke around when he forgets your name. I use to do that when I liked a guy. You should ask a friend of his does he like any other girls and if he likes you. Use friends because they can help. Maybe you should tell a friend to tell him that you like him but they have to pretend that you don't know that they are telling him this and ask them what he says. And if he gives you more attention after wards, maybe he likes you back. But if he avoids you, this could mean that he now is shy and has cold feet or he doesn't like you and doesn't want to lead you on. Good luck.

U put this under dating and relationships. Well, it might be a problem for you if he touches other girls, and if he doesn't give the vibe that he is joking about your name then more than likely he isn't joking. He sounds like he talks to a lot of girls so I'm sure you're not the only one that likes him and he is good at talking as well. He is probably a player. Stay away!!!!! Or definately don't let him know you like him that much. Just maybe you might be a little interested for all he knows.

Sounds like you have met a flirt. Do not become any more emotionally attached to him than you already are. He does not even remember your name, I am sorry to say that he's probably just looking for the attention from the opposite sex. If he is treating other girls the same way, that means that he is not particularly interested in you. Spend time with your friends and family and concentrate on your studies. You will be happy you paid attention in class to your teacher rather than to this boy when college acceptance letters come pouring in!

i suggest you try to stay away from these kind of people, because my brother and I are like this and when we date our priorties aren't always in the right places...these people have a tendency to still flirt with other girls when we are currently dating some one

I think he is flirtacious and if you like him you should of have did it by now but i think if you go with him ,you wouldn't like him to flirt with other girls in front of your face.

you never know he might be calling
you by the wrong name on purpose!!!!!!!!!!!!
but don't get your hopes too high because
it might turn out that he is just playing
around with you.Anyways before you
tell him that you like him get to know him!!!!!
(his likes and his dislikes)
{anyways get to know him so that you know if you really like him or its just a crush and that you just think he is cute!!!!!!!} anyways just think
about what i said and follow your heart!!!!!!!!!

good luck!!!!!!!!!!

I would not take him or yourself too seriously. Just be yourself, if he does not like you, he can go to hell. Also, you should try to cut the word 'like' out of your vocabulary unless you are using it in context.
