The first main thing he has done his that he pulled out dada ganguly from the team, that his the first and foremost good thing he had done, the next thing is that he made the indian team to be in the third, the final thing is that he gave chances for the new young players

Greg has new ideas and lot more experimentation , these things cannot be done in over night.his style does not suit for Indians.i think he will be best suited for australian team,as John Buchannan is leaving australia after next years world cup. Then Greg chappel can join the Australian team. Finally what greg has done to Indian team is the the young and talented Indian team which has been built by Ganguly and john wright has been ruined by him.

Chappal is not doing much for the Indian Team as compared to the days he was introduced. At the beginning he really tried to motivate the team & it was competent up to a level. All the players were unique and it was nice to see each player celebrates his colleagues achievements in a real sportsman spirit. Also he helped some of the junior players to survive in the team like Raina, Munaf, Sreesanth, Kaif, Dhoni & Pathan evenafter some faded performances. But the days have gone & now we can watch players with full of pressure & tension always...
His experiments are not also much succesful when we analyse the performances.
Let us hope he will realise the causes of these changes & try to reinnovate our INDIAN team as better as he can...

Well....... When he first came as India's Coach, I was impressed. India was winning a few matches and their fielding greatly improved. I believe that the real end of his success came when he started his little "war" on Ganguly. It was good that he got rid of Ganguly because he wasn't in good form, but he shouldn't have gotten rid of some of the really good players that supported Ganguly. Zaheer Khan should never have been dropped. After that, India started to lose a lot more and when India was losing to the West Indies, I started to doubt Chappell. I personally think he should be replaced by Sandeep Patil. He's the guy who led KENYA to the semi-final in the 2003 World Cup. Any guy who can lead KENYA to that much success can definetely make India win the cup.

Like Smt SONIA doing great in POLITICS for INDIA as CONGRESS PRESIDENT, He (Mr. Cheppel) is doing great job in CRICKET for INDIAN.
Benefit of their service to our nation INDIA will be felt after long time.
They or their representative shall continue for 200 years like BRITISH RULE, then only we, INDIAN, shall understand the benefit.
They will ensure very good outcome for all INDIANs at a v.v.v.v. long run (100 - 200 years).
Our BCCI president, Selector are V.V.V.V.V Long time planner. They have planned in such a away that INDIA shall emerges as WINNER after 100 - 200 years. Such a long term planning is not easy task.
You have asked this Q due to:
Elimination of INDIA in the very first round in CHAMPION TROPHY,
Probabily, it could be eliminated in prequalification round, had it been asked to prequalify.
It may be the same in next year WORLDCUP also.
But these are temporily for less than 100 years. Be sure that it (MERA / HAMARA BHARAT) will emerge as winner after 100-200 years.
Pl. wait a moment.

throwin' ganguly out is the ultimate good tht he's done for sure........
rest..ummm...i wont be teasing him for experimenting as many ppl these days are acusing him of.....simply b'cuz i do rem'ber the lanka series at the end of last year and the pak and england series early this year when everyone waz goin ga ga of his mode of experimentin'.....
so i wud say its still a long way to go for him to bring some stability.,flexibilty and most importantly 'Consistency'....in the team....
and i just feel its unfair to bring all blames on him 'cuz of the nasty performance of our team in the champions trophy.....after all he cant bat or bowl for the team...its the TEAM and PLAYERS who hv under-performed....and its better tht v realize this fact....
so...its still early to hv a conclusive opinion on him....just wait 'nd watch....
