Our beta has been hovering on the bottom of the tank the last few days. He's usually swimming around a lot and is more active...anyone seen this before?

What is the temp of his water? Does he have a heater? They can become lethargic if the water is too cold, they like it close to 80.

Sounds like he is about to be sleeping with the fishes......No pun intended. Have you recently changed the tank water??? Sometimes a water change can be a shock to the fish. I had many fish and sorry to say they all ended up in the same place....swimming with the Tidy Bowl Man.

Or he could be suffering from a lack of clean water or enough oxygen...check your filter to make sure it is clean, and running water back into the tank. Other than that...just keep feeding him regularly and watch him for changes...GOOD LUCK!!!!!
