OK. First I need to explain to you that iPod is an MP3 Player (although iPod can also play other non-MP3 music files).
Yes, it is possible to copy your music CD into your computer, if the CD is not copy protected, or you've got the right tool on hand to rip the CD. And, no you don't need a special website, however, you might need to go to some website to get some tools, like CD Ripper.
For iPod, they have a program called iTunes that have two main function, 1) Play your music files on your computer (like Windows Media Player) 2) Rip a CD and copy it to your iPod. Other MP3 players usually have their own programs, or some don't even need a special program, you can just copy and paste your music files to the MP3 player like a Flashdisk or External Drive. No they're not difficult to work with, you just need some basic computer skills (click, copying, paste, etc).

You don't NEED this at all.
Puny litle earpieces or most PC speakers cannot compete with a thumping good set of wooden cabinet speakers and a clean CD spinning in the machine.
Don't buy into this rubbish - it's just big business getting you change to an inferior system
What happens when this delicate technology packs in?
Hey - no record collection.
Then the buggers will try to sell you the next rubbish thing.
Don't do it.
Don't.

Get an iPod, they're ace. The iPod comes with a program called iTunes which you can use to rip (copy) all your cds to your computer and then transfer them to your iPod. You can also use it to connect to iTunes shop where you can download music legally from 79p per single track. You can get iPods from around 100 pounds.

(*lol*) Just got an iPod recently. You load the software on your PC, copy your CDs to your computer, and bring your music into the iPod library...then load it on to the iPod.
It's rough the first time, but after that it's pretty straight forward.
