This is one of the smartest things the BCCI has ever done. If Indian players are paid by how well they played, they'll be motivated to play harder and India might actually win some matches. Also, all of the old players will be treated the same as the new players and people will be paid fairly.

I am terribly sorry to say that BCCI is very wrong in doing so.If the BCCI suddenly feels that they are spending too much money on the players and getting too little out of them-then what about the BCCI members themselves?????I would like someone to enlighten me on how much money is spent on these Board members who contributes little or nothing at all towards the game called CRICKET!!!!Please do not bring in a capitalist view in this game.No my friends, Money is not the measuring rod for performance though it could be one of the factors but not the main. But in doing so they are going to ruin cricket from India just as hockey was done. This method is called laises-faire in economics term which in short means survival of the fittest!!!This will create extreme poles and the the game will soon be quashed from our country.
No I don't agree with this method. At the entrance level itself there should be a thorough screening and only those fit should be allowed in.With all the corruption at this level itself our honourable members are trying to make the players a scapegoat which in my opinion is very bad for the game. This should not be done.!!! I love this game but my plea is to stop thinking with our hearts and start thinking with our minds for the benefit of the game in our country.Remember the game is constituted by the team and the team represents a country. If you axe one the other two is bound to be affected.

I strongly feel that this is a right decision and should have been taken long back. This will do lot of good for the performance of the team. Pressently players are not too much concerned about the result of the match and their performance as they are assured of their money whether perform or not, which has created a complacency. Once they know that their payment will depend upon their performance you can expect sea of change in the attitude of players and their approach to each and every game.

It is a very good decision. It is energy announcement for
real hard players. And this is warning for badly playing players
