I have. I have 6 mos of Lupron injections and 6 mos of regular birth control to treat endometriosis. I just started my second 6 mos of Lupron. My understanding is that you can get any of the symptoms of menopause. My experience has been hot flashes and night sweats. I deal with this by keeping a fan around even in the winter. As for it working, so far so good. No new cysts.

My wife had the lupron for 6 months and it wreaked havoc with her- she gained like 20 lbs and has never been able to get rid of it. Her endo was very advanced and it did nto help her. She ended up going to a nautral doc who cured her. 8 yrs now and no pain. She even had the surgery. Only thing left for modern medicine was to do hysterectomy and she was not ready fo rthat.
