Is going to university for three years a waste of time or will it make me have a really good job in the end? in other words is a degree a con.

No education is ever a con. And no university degree is ever a guarantee of employment or of a good life.

You should go to university because you enjoy the subject you are studying, or because it is a specific qualification you need for your job eg engineering.

A degree does not guarantee you a good job; but that does not make it a con, you do it for the experience and for the sake of learning.

If you hate study, don't do it!

It really depends on your attitude. Do you have a career path in mind, because it really helps to know what you're aiming for. I would say, education is never wasted, but I know that these days it is so expensive you probably don't want to go if you really don't see a good reason why.

Try going to your local careers advisory service for some more help.

I graduated and i regret it a degree now adays is only really necessary if ou want to be lawyer or doctor apart from that if you know what you want in life do it know. Experience is far more important than a degree now
