me n my partner's on buying a house we want to put in solar panals and wind turbine and also a water filter...any other ideas on being green??? we really care about the environment...we got some ideas but wanted to see if you people have any better ones

Insulate the house, install double or triple pane windows with UV filters, install insulated doors, install heat pump with ground loop exchanger, use brackish water (also called grey water) to flush the toilets, install roof deck with foil on the inside for added radiant heat protection.

Install a tank less water heater and look in to a geo thermal heating and cooling system.

walk under some green paint...that will make you pretty green, or walk into to gamma rays and turn into the Hulk
