How do you pick open a padlock? I seem to have misplaced my key.....

I've never tried it. I have had to cut a padlock before with a hacksaw to get it off. It took a while, but I was able to cut off a section of the U shape and get the chain off.

padlocks are $5 or less....use bolt cutters and take it off...replace the lock and make sure to keep up with the key

cut it with hacksaw or bolt cutters... if you have to ask,you dont have the tools nor the knack to pic a lock
