CV stands for Crriculum Vitae which is basically just like a resume, but includes other areas such as your publications and papers you have written, seminars you have attended/conducted, classes or courses you have taught, and awards, certificates and diplomas you have received.
And if you are in Latin America, you will also need to include your personal data such as age, gender, marital stauts and a current picture.
Look for a format online - I'm sure you will find tons of samples.

A CV is a Curriculum Vita, or resume. You are probably looking either in Europe (it's in vogue there) or in academia. It will include your schooling, employment history, publications, grants awarded, and presentations. Each field may have a different format it follows, so you should try googling Curriculum Vita with the name of your field (Education, or such). Good luck!

A Curriculum Vitae, commonly referred to as CV, is a longer (two or more pages), more detailed synopsis. It includes a summary of your educational and academic backgrounds as well as teaching and research experience, publications, presentations, awards, honors, affiliations and other details.
