Okay! Just use 'PEMDAS'
7-2x4/2
do multiplication and division from left to right first, so it becomes:
7-8/2
Then do the remaining division, so you get
7-4
Finally, do the subtraction, and 3 is your answer.
If you have other problems like this, you can remember that you do Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction- PEMDAS.
Do it from left to right.
Hope this helps!

order of operations says do multiplication and division first:
7 - 2 * 4 / 2 =
7 - 2 * 2 =
7 - 4 =
3

or
7 - 2 * 4 / 2 =
7 - 8 / 2 =
7 - 4 =
3

It is
7 - 2(4) / 2 = 7 - 8/2
= 7 - 4
= 3

Because by using BODMAS (i.e Brackets Of Division Multiplication Addition Subtraction) we will first divide 2times 4 by 2 and get 4 and then subtract 4 from 7 obtaining 3 as the answer.

Always do division or multi from left to right, then do minus or add from left to right
