Zak would have once been an interesting name. Although now if I heard it, it would just send me the wrong sort of connotations. That is: blonde, ignorant, egotistical etc - think 'Zak' from 'Saved By the Bell'. It is in one sense, the name of a stock character.

I do. I think Zak is a very cool name. My best friend that I haven't seen for over five years (since he moved away) was named Zac for short (Zachary), and he had lots of character. He was smart, good looking, big-hearted, gentle, funny and witty---the women loved him.
Zak or Zac is a great name.

ZAK is a really cool name. It's usually spelled "Zack", though. I've only known one Zack...cool kid.
