You didn't even tell us which district/state/etc you are in. I've never heard of any of those folks.
Anyways a lot of us don't care what someones sexual preference is when it comes to how good of a job they will do in elected office. I would rather have a gay judge I think, because they will know what it's like to have people hating on them all the time and will try to preserve our civil rights.

Yeah, by God, let's just kill all them queers and be done with it. Sounds like that's what you want. Them queers ruined my marriage with their calls for equality, it couldn't have been my fault after all...
And while we're at it, let's kill all them negroes and Jews and Catholics too. And anyone else we don't like, or who isn't like us. Maybe them rednecks, too (you're not a redneck, are you?).
What Repubicans and other neo-cons call an activist Judge is simply one who makes a ruling that they disagree with, or which goes against their religious beliefs, even when they are just upholding the the Law and the Constitution.
Maybe we should just kill all the bigots, and then we wouldn't have to worry about it. Or at least vote them out of office. TAKE THIS WHEN YOU VOTE
