I have been taking micronor birth control pills since February and they are very good. They don't have any estrogen in them, so they don't cause side effects like mood swings that are caused by other pills like ortho tri-cyclen or the patch. The only problem is that you have to take them at the same time everyday to keep the level of medicine at a constant level, otherwise you could get pregnant. Since there are no colored pills where you are supposed to have your period, your periods will be irregular. Sometimes I don't have periods for two or three months at a time, but that is normal. The only time I really have periods is when I forget to take the pill and the amount of medication in my body changes. I recommend them if you don't mind having irregular periods and don't want the side effects of hormones.
