First off just let me say ingrown hairs are a BI*bleep*H.
The only way to stop ingrown hairs is to pluck the entire hair at the root, which can be VERY painful. Shaving with a razor only cuts the top parts, and does not gets the roots - which then grow back inwards and cause lots of pain and itching. Your best bet is to go with waxing -- however that's not gonna feel all that much less painful; but it's the best way to go.

you're in all likelihood utilising a razor to shave. Razors may reason diverse ingrown hairs because they shave so close. The razor pulls on the hairs. The hairs raise up out of the floor. Then, a number of them go decrease back less than the floor and change into ingrown hairs. that is more effective perfect to apply an electric powered shaver with a foil show through the indisputable fact that type of shaver doesn't pull on the hairs the way a razor does. Ingrown hairs are continually led to by technique of shaving to on the brink of the floor. an electric powered shaver will reason ingrown hairs too in case you press the electric powered shaver on your pores and skin in an attempt to get a nearer shave. you're meant to enable the electric powered shaver glide over your pores and skin.

As a beauty therapist we advise our clients to exfoliate and moisturise, which helps to remove and prevent the dry layer of skin forming, so the re-growth can push through. Also if your a bloke, shave downwards, not against the natural route of growth.

Don't shave against the grain.. Your shave won't be as close, but you won't get the ingrown hairs.

don't shave to often let your hair grow and then shave it cuz if you keep on shaving it you are just peeling of some of the skin and then as that skin as it grows will grow over the hair.
